EmP Free Tutoring Program
Emerald Parents Association (EmP) is a non profit 501(c)3 organization in Washington State founded in 2007. We focus on building strong community, promoting family values and education. We also reach out to other communities by promoting community services.
The EmP free online tutoring programs are provided by the achieved high school volunteers from our community. Elementary and middle school students can get one-on-one help on all K-8 core school subjects, including math, science, English, social studies, some foreign languages, and more... Our excellent tutors strive to provide quality support to help your students succeed.

Students: grades K to 8.
Duration: 30 minutes per person each week
Dates: Monday through Sunday. Please press the sign up button to see available times.
Location: Once you sign up, we will email you the Zoom link for your session.

Meet Our Team
Austin Hong is a junior at Interlake High School, entering his second year of the IB program. He is interested in math, programming, soccer, and chess.
He taught as a tutor last year, and continues to organize the EmP Tutoring program this year. |
Justin Wu is a sophomore at Bellevue High School. He enjoys swimming, reading, and running in his free time. He is one of the organizers of the EmP Tutoring program.

Alan Jiang is a junior at Sammamish High School. He participates in robotics competition and plays water polo. He has experience organizing EmP summer camps and mentoring robotics teams for younger students.

Steven He is a junior at Tesla STEM High School. He enjoys playing sports and programming, and is most interested in math and computer science related subjects.

Owen Ni is a freshman at Lakeside High School. He likes swimming, skiing, and reading. This is his first time in the EmP tutoring program, but he has been English and math tutors in the past four years.
