The Emerald Youth Review is a blog showcasing the finest literary and artistic accomplishments of Asian-American youth in grades 3-12 within the greater Puget Sound area.

The Emerald Youth Review is made possible with the generosity of Emerald Parents, a 501(c)(3) organization and grassroots parenting group dedicated to building a strong local Chinese-American community, promoting parenting and family values and organizing education and community activities. Affiliation with Emerald Parents is not required to submit or participate in the Youth Review.
- We have monthly, themed calls for submission, sometimes centered around the immigrant family experience.
- We are able to pay our youth contributors $10 for each published piece.
- We also have occasional feature articles exploring issues of local Chinese-American identity and media in general.
